Welcome to Forest View Hotel
For those seeking a tranquil escape in the heart of London, the Forest View Hotel stands as a commendable option. Nestled at 227 Romford Rd, this establishment earns an impressive rating of 4 stars, reflecting a commitment to quality service and guest satisfaction.
Guests frequently rave about the friendliness of the staff, which enhances the welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. Roland Ford, having stayed after a concert at the nearby London Stadium, expressed delight in the hotel's spacious double rooms, perfect for two adults. The hotel is conveniently located, just a short bus ride or a pleasant 30-minute walk to the venue, making it an excellent choice for concert-goers and tourists alike.
Another visitor, Robert Williams, highlighted the hotel’s exceptional value. He stayed while participating in the Ride London 100 and noted the proximity to the event start line. With nightly rates as low as £29 per person, it’s hard to find such affordability in central London. The availability of early breakfasts for cyclists is a thoughtful touch that reflects the hotel’s consideration for its guests' needs.
While most feedback has been positive, a few visitors experienced minor inconveniences. Stuart Aitken mentioned issues with the toilet efficiency, indicating that while some facilities might benefit from a closer inspection, the overall experience remains positive. Similarly, Deborah Seed enjoyed a warm and clean room, although she noted that the bathroom could be a tad cramped. These observations do not, however, overshadow the hotel's strengths.
The amenities are solid: guests enjoy free Wi-Fi, complimentary breakfast, and free parking, creating a stress-free stay. Although the hotel lacks a fitness center and pool, visitors can explore the surrounding residential area, which boasts Indian eateries and traditional pubs, ensuring guests can enjoy both relaxation and local culture.
For those yearning for exploration, historical landmarks like the Tower of London, Tower Bridge, and St. Paul's Cathedral are within easy reach. Each of these sites promises a blend of rich history and stunning architecture, providing further incentive to make Forest View Hotel your base while touring London.
In conclusion, the Forest View Hotel offers an inviting atmosphere, dedicated service, and unbeatable prices, making it a wise choice for travelers and locals alike. With each guest's comfort in mind, the hotel strikes a delightful balance between relaxation and accessibility, perfect for both short stays and extended visits.

Very friendly staff. Clean & double room large enough to suit our needs(2 adults). Great place to stay as an overnight stop after concert at London Stadium, 10 min bus ride; 30 min walk, but book early, hotel was full as Muse played last night.
Really friendly staff, free breakfast was great and the room was absolutely fine. Only small problem was the toilet didn't seem to work properly. Almost impossible to flush anything down it even though an absolute torrent of water comes through when you operate it. Getting in steaming drunk at 2am after new year and having to do about 20 flushes to get a decidedly average dump down the pan was not a fun thing to do in the state I was in! Aside from that, it was honestly a really good and well-priced hotel and I would definitely recommend the place. It's located about 20 metres from a bust stop with 24-hour direct links into the city with the 25 bus, which is a real bonus I think. Stratford tube/train/bus station is about 15 minute's walk down the road too. (Also, I don't think other rooms had the toilet problem. If management reads this... Room 21 toilet needs sorting..!)
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and warm. The food was excellent. The only criticism was there was not enough bath towels and the bathroom/shower was small and a bit hard to get to, as you had to close the door whilst sat on the toilet to get to it.
Stayed here to participate in ride London 100. It is close to the start, just a few miles. Staff are very very friendly, the rooms are clean and cleaned daily. The food is good and an early breakfast was provided for all cyclists riding the sportive. The full English was excellent. The prices for central London are superb. Just £29 per person per night! Absolute bargain.
